SERVICES
Ways we can help
Each service is shaped by more than 30 years of specialized clinical and research experience.
-
In-depth cognitive testing and diagnostic evaluation which provides a detailed description of the person’s thinking, learning, and adaptive skills relative to age group and relative to oneself (i.e. areas of strength and weakness).
Neuropsychological assessment is particularly useful for people with developmental brain disorders. Compared to the educational evaluations typically conducted by school systems or social service agencies, neuropsychological assessment gives a more comprehensive, in-depth, and nuanced picture of how an individual’s mind is working.
Reports include clear recommendations you can share with schools, employers, doctors, and clinicians.
Testing Locations - Neuropsychological testing is conducted in Pasadena, California or Ann Arbor, Michigan. Testing can typically be completed on two consecutive days.
-
Individual, couple and family therapy for adolescents and adults. Dr. Paul’s therapy practice specializes in all helping people (patients, family members, providers) who are dealing with the real-life impact of neurological conditions across the lifespan.
Online sessions - Clients must be physically located somewhere in California during online sessions.
In-person sessions - Pasadena, California.
-
Individualized guidance within Dr. Paul’s areas of expertise. Consultations are designed to clarify complex clinical questions, review existing records, discuss current research, and provide practical recommendations for families, clinicians, educators, researchers, legal teams and organizations
Consultation services are educational and advisory in nature and do not establish a psychologist–patient relationship or include diagnosis or treatment.
Consultations are typically conducted online and are available to people anywhere in the world.
Consultation topics may include:
Review of neuropsychological and psychoeducational records.
Application of research findings to an individual's situation.
